Amideva Buddha Park: A Quiet Circuit
Visit Amideva Buddha Park below Swayambhu for three giant golden statues and a short walk around the grounds.

About this spot
Amideva Buddha Park sits at the western foot of Swayambhu in Kathmandu. Walk around the three golden statues and prayer wheels; allow about 30–45 minutes, or combine it with a separate visit to the hilltop stupa. Ordinary entry is reported free. Keep worship areas clear and check access at the gate.
The park was built in 2003, so its statues are much newer than the nearby Swayambhu shrine.
