About this spot

Balaju Baisdhara Park is a ticketed garden below Nagarjun, northwest of central Kathmandu. Follow the paths to the stone water spouts and reclining Vishnu statue. Allow around an hour; check the posted entrance fee and any separate swimming-pool access before paying.

Baisdhara refers to the row of 22 water spouts. Their carved heads resemble crocodiles.
