About this spot

Nagarkot–Nala is a one-way countryside walk with rolling ground, village paths and stretches of descent. Allow 3½–5 hours on foot. Confirm the exact Nala endpoint with your guide: the town and monastery routes are different, and this is not the Nagarkot–Changu Narayan walk.

Allow 1½–2½ hours each for the outward drive from Kathmandu and the return via Banepa, longer if changing buses. Arrange pickup, carry water and sun or rain protection, and finish before dark. Clear mountain views depend on weather.
