About this spot
A neighbourhood park near the Ring Road. Published entry-fee accounts conflict, so confirm admission before your visit.
SUGGESTED TIME
30–60 minutes. Durations are planning estimates, not opening hours.
A SIMPLE OUTING
Check the open gate and admission → take a short walk → pause on an available bench → return.
GETTING THERE & ACCESS
Choose Shankha Park in Dhumbarahi. It is different from Shankhamul's riverside conch park and Ratna Park/Shankhadhar Udyan. Confirm the day's hours and usable facilities.
ENTRY & OPTIONAL COSTS
A 2022 study reports free entry, while municipal-charge reporting names an admission fee. No current rule resolving that conflict was found. Do not assume a morning concession applies throughout the day.
RESEARCH CHECKED
15 September 2026. Check current notices before travelling.
