About this spot
A short walk and conversation around Shankhamul's conch landmark. Check current grounds and river conditions before visiting.
SUGGESTED TIME
30–60 minutes. Durations are planning estimates, not opening hours.
A SIMPLE OUTING
Enter the confirmed Shankhamul Ghat park gate → take a short garden walk → pause by available seating → return.
GETTING THERE & ACCESS
This is the NRNA conch park beside the Bagmati, not Shankha Park in Dhumbarahi. River odour and maintenance can affect the visit. Check current approach conditions after rain; this plan does not depend on a continuous riverside route to UN Park.
ENTRY & OPTIONAL COSTS
March 2024 reporting explicitly says sitting and walking are free. A current operator tariff was not found, so admission is reported rather than confirmed. Transport and refreshments are extra.
RESEARCH CHECKED
15 September 2026. Check current notices before travelling.
