Walk through Shankhamul NRNA Park in Lalitpur, beside the Bagmati River and its large conch-shell landmark.

About this spot
Shankhamul NRNA Park is a riverbank public space on the Lalitpur side of the Bagmati. Visit for a short walk around the conch monument and open grounds. Ordinary access is reported free. Check river and path conditions after heavy rain, and stay clear of closed sections; this is not a swimming or riverside picnic recommendation.
The Non-Resident Nepali Association handed the completed park to Lalitpur Metropolitan City in June 2018.
