Shivapuri Peak Day Hike via Panimuhan
Hike from Panimuhan via Nagi Gumba and Baghdwar to Shivapuri Peak, a full forest day above Budhanilkantha.
About this spot
This group hike starts at Panimuhan above Budhanilkantha and climbs past Nagi Gumba and Baghdwar toward Shivapuri Peak, about 2,732 m. Allow 6–8 hours on foot and choose a turnaround time that leaves enough daylight for the descent.
Park entry and a guide are required. Confirm the authorised route and exit time at the gate; walking between sunset and sunrise is prohibited. Carry water, food and rain protection, keep the group together and shorten the hike if anyone is struggling.
Baghdwar, on the route, is the source of the Bagmati River.
