About this spot

Siddha Pokhari is a large rectangular pond in Dudhpati, near Bhaktapur Hospital. Allow 30–60 minutes to walk its edges and sit by the water. A local visitor guide reports free entry, while boating is charged separately; check current notices on arrival. Keep children away from unguarded water edges.

Its Newar name, Ta Pukhu, means “big pond”.
