Visit Tribhuvan Park in Thankot for garden paths and a group outing; entry and booked picnic facilities are separate.
About this spot
Tribhuvan Park is at Thankot, below the Chandragiri hills. Walk through the grounds or arrange a picnic booking if your group needs reserved facilities. The operator lists ordinary entry at NPR 50 and student entry at NPR 30, with separate SAARC and other foreign-visitor rates. Parking, picnic facilities and some camera uses cost extra.
The park was established in 1972 and named after King Tribhuvan.
