The World Peace Pagoda, or Shanti Stupa, stands on the hill south of Phewa Lake. Reach it by road with a final walk, or arrange a lake crossing and hike with a confirmed return plan. Wear walking shoes and carry water. Keep voices low around the stupa; transport, boat fares and refreshments are separate costs.
