Explore Chabahī’s layered Hindu and Buddhist heritage on a two-hour guided walk with heritage explorer and storyteller Saurav Thapa Shrestha.
Organized by Taragaon Next as part of the exhibition “What Empire Took, What Empire Left,” the walk begins at Lwohshala Gane Dya (Chandrabinayak/Chabahil Ganeshthan). The route continues to Dhando Chaitya/Charumati Stupa, Thathu Bahī and Kothu Bahī, connecting Hindu shrines, Buddhist heritage and the living ritual traditions of local communities.
This small-group walk suits people interested in Kathmandu Valley history, architecture and living heritage. Registration is required and participation is limited to 15 people.
Schedule: Sunday, 13 September 2026, 7:00–9:00 a.m. Nepal time.
Fee: NPR 500.
