Mango Fest 2026 returns to Utpala Cafe in Boudha, Kathmandu, starting Friday, June 12, 2026 at 1:00 PM. The cafe bills it as "3 Days of Pure Mango Bliss" and teases a large lineup of mango dishes: "Nepal's biggest mango celebration is coming! Can you guess how many mango dishes we are preparing?"
Utpala Cafe is a vegetarian, no-alcohol, family-friendly cafe operated by the Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery, located near the Boudhanath Stupa. The cafe is open 7 AM to 9 PM daily and also hosts a Saturday farmers market. At the previous edition (June 26-28, 2025), entry was free and visitors could buy mango food, drinks, desserts and fresh mangoes prepared by the cafe team.
