Free international workshop on mountain heritage, climate resilience and inclusive governance in Nepal’s Kangchenjunga region.
Join researchers and practitioners from Nepal, Scotland and Norway for a full-day MONTAGE dissemination workshop. The programme shares research from the Kangchenjunga Conservation Area and explores how cultural heritage, community knowledge and UNESCO Biosphere Reserve models can support resilient mountain communities.
Who it suits: researchers, conservation and development practitioners, policymakers, heritage professionals and students interested in mountain governance or climate resilience.
Schedule: Thursday, 1 October 2026, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM NPT. Doors open at 8:30 AM.
Venue: Square Hotel, 3 Pulchowk–Dhobighat Road, Lalitpur 44700.
Admission: Free; advance registration is required through Eventbrite.
