About this event
The Nepal Pride Parade is Kathmandu's annual pride march, held every June since its launch in 2019 and now scheduled on the second Saturday of June. It is organized by Queer Youth Group together with allied organizations including Queer Rights Collective and, since 2020, Campaign for Change, and celebrates people of marginalized sexual orientations, gender identities, expressions and sex characteristics (PoMSOGIESC).
The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, June 13. Participants assemble at Shanti Batika (Pukhusi Kyaba) by Ratna Park at 1:30 PM, march in a rally circling Tudikhel from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, and gather at Khula Manch for performances and speeches until 6:30 PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends, pride flags and banners.
The parade is a free, open community event — no tickets or registration are required. Anyone wishing to march or support is welcome to join at the assembly point.
