The Society of Surgeons of Nepal hosts its XVth National Conference at Birat Medical College Teaching Hospital. The programme is for surgeons, surgical specialists, residents, trainees, nursing professionals and researchers. Expect pre-conference skills workshops, lectures, scientific sessions, oral papers, e-posters and professional networking. The full session-by-session programme is still forthcoming.
Nepal-time schedule: Thursday 26 November 2026, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (pre-conference); Friday 27 November, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday 28 November, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. Venue: Central Conference Hall and other BMCTH campus spaces, Birat Medical College Teaching Hospital, Budhiganga-2, Tankisinuwari, Morang, Nepal.
Registration is paid. The official ticket portal currently lists NPR 7,000–17,600 by delegate category, or USD 115 for an international ticket; an accompanying person is NPR 3,000. Early-bird categories run through 31 October. Check the linked portal for your applicable rate and availability. Tickets are non-refundable. Registration includes scientific sessions, a conference kit, specified refreshments and meals, a certificate, and exhibition and networking access. Workshop seats are limited. Abstract submissions close 30 October.
