About this event
Victor Patrascan, a Romanian stand-up comedian who tours full-time and has performed in around 60 countries (298 self-produced shows across 114 cities in 2024 alone), brings his show "Stand up Comedy in broken English" to Kathmandu for three performances: Friday, July 3, 2026 at 7:00 PM (until 9:00 PM), and Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 5:00 PM (until 6:30 PM) and 7:00 PM (until 9:00 PM).
The show is performed entirely in English and features bold insights, unscripted moments, and cheeky observations on politics, culture, and modern life. Audience interaction is with willing volunteers only - you can sit anywhere, including the front row, without being picked on. The show is restricted to ages 16 and over. The venue is Happy Club, an 88+ seater stand-up comedy club on the 3rd floor of Maitidevi Complex, Maitidevi, Kathmandu (above Nabil Bank).
Online tickets are sold via Fienta (linked from the comedian's official site): Early Bird NPR 2,100, Regular NPR 2,250, Group 4+ NPR 2,000 per person, and a limited "Exclusive" tier at NPR 1,500. Walk-in tickets on the door are NPR 2,500, or NPR 2,250 with a free online reservation paid in cash at the door. The venue's own booking page lists Student NPR 1,500 and General NPR 2,100. Each of the three shows has its own Fienta ticket page, and the organizer (the Comedy Nomad) notes that shows sell out fast.
